I first discovered Yoga 11 years ago in Dublin, mainly out of curiosity and wanting to experience the positive reviews we all hear about Yoga. It was a quite a strong physical class and I felt refreshed, energised and clear-minded. I have also discovered the slower, softer side of Yoga; Yin Yoga.... and never looked back.
Yoga became more than a physical practice to me. It is ongoing process of self-inquiry and development of the intelligence of the body through these ancient practices to live life with more ease, gratitude and freedom.
Moving to Norwich in 2012, I started practising and later on, undertaking my 200 hours Hatha Yoga teacher training under the guidance of
Swami Atma Gyanam Saraswati from The Yoga Tree in Norwich, whose spiritual approach was a perfect balance of Yoga style to me.
A few months later I had completed an additional Yin Teaching course with Sarah Lo in the White Space Studio in Milton Keynes.
In November 2017 I deepened my knowledge and personal practice by finishing an advanced 300 hours teacher training in the Tantric Hatha Yoga tradition with Pranayama and Meditation in beautiful Bali with the Zuna Yoga tribe thought by Katherine Girling & Everett Nevel.
I am continuing my learning & studies with trips to Mandala Ashram in Wales, where I get to explore Karma Yoga (The Yoga of Awareness in action) , Bhakti Yoga (The Yoga of the Heart), Gyana Yoga ( The Yoga of Inquiry and Insight), Nada Yoga (The Yoga of Inner Sound) and ancient Hatha/Tantra practices and meditations (The Yoga of Balance / Awakening Primal Energy) under the guidance of Swami Nishchalananda and his team within the lineage of Swami Satyananda.
In November 2018-July 2019 I have been initiated into practices and studies of Kriya Yoga (The Yoga of Circulating of Energy Flow).
In September 2019 I started co-running Happy Om Yoga Studio and started my online studies with Rod Stryker founder of ParaYoga. I have completed few of his master trainings since (Tantra Shakti, Secrets of the Sutras & Yoga Nidra)
Learning and studying brings me as much joy as teaching, so at the moment I am undertaking 300 hours Yoga and Ayurvedic studies through the American Institute of Vedic Studies founded and directed by Dr. David Frawley D. Litt.
At the core of my offerings lies an intention; so these teachings, which have been passed on and through me, will inspire your heart and mind to descend in to the exploration of knowing ourselves on deeper levels of our being.
My classes are an invitation to welcome yourself into these practices as you are and start from this very place…
To slow down from the busyness of day-to-day life. To quieten our mind and to remember. To re-connect to that part of You, which is always present, never changing and totally peaceful – one with the world – Your True Nature / Essence / Self; call it as you wish.
Each practice is supported with the intention to keep returning back in to this wholeness.
For intensifying and, most importantly, sustaining this freedom and creative field through movement, awareness,
breath and subtle body practices.
With reverence and commitment to yourself through regular practice and meditation; I believe that Yoga reveals itself, allow us to
receive its spark of insight and depth.
When I am not practising, teaching or studying yoga, you will most likely find me walking in the woods, spending time with my favourite people, taking photographs, looking after my indoor jungle (I have almost 100 plants!), playing harmonium, reading, knitting, crocheting and learning how to live in more sustainable way.
