Follow-Up Ayurvedic Consultations
Norwich & Online

After your initial Ayurvedic consultation, follow-up sessions offer space to revisit the recommendations we have explored and see how they are working in your everyday life.

We can look at what's changed, what you're noticing, and what may need adjusting. Depending on your needs, we might explore diet, daily routines, sleep, treatments or practices that support your energy and well-being.

Follow-up sessions are available in person or online via Zoom.

Ongoing Support & the Four Pillars of Health

4 pillar of health

FOUR PILLARS OF HEALTH

Ayurveda considers health through four interconnected areas of life: Āhāra, Vihāra, Nidra and Brahmacharya.

They are not separate boxes, but woven together. What we eat influences our energy; how we spend our energy influences our sleep; our sleep affects how we digest, think and respond; and the way we direct our energy shapes how we live.

In our consultations, we may draw on any or all of these areas, depending on what is relevant for you at the time.

ĀHĀRA

Food & Nourishment

This is about more than simply what we eat. Āhāra includes how, when and why we eat, as well as how well we digest and assimilate what we take in.

We explore the foods, the six tastes, qualities and eating rhythms that are supportive for your constitution and current needs, while considering Agni, the digestive fire that governs how we digest, transform and assimilate what we take in.

VIHĀRA

Lifestyle & Daily Rhythm

Vihāra encompasses the many ways we move through daily life ~ activity and rest, work and recreation, movement, relationships, environment and the rhythms that shape our days.

Together, we look at how your way of living may be supporting or depleting you, and where small changes might make a meaningful difference. You will also be introduced to Dinacharya (Ayurvedic morning and evening practices) and Ritucharya (seasonal alignment) ~ timeless guidelines for living in balance.

NIDRA

Sleep & Rest

Nidra is the quality and quantity of sleep, and the deep restoration that takes place when we feel rested.

We explore your sleep patterns and what may be supporting or disturbing your natural capacity for restorative sleep.

BRAHMACHARYA

Energy, Mind & Emotions

Brahmacharya invites us to consider how we use our energy ~ what we give our attention to, what stimulates or depletes us, and what allows us to replenish.

This includes the way we work, move, relate, practise and rest, as well as our relationship with others, pleasure, desire and the senses. We explore where your energy is going, whether it is being used in ways that support you, and where there may be a need for greater balance, moderation or renewal.
